Exciting News!!!

 Alright, So I have something exciting to tell you.  Drumroll please!  ..........I just passed my driving test.  Eeeeeeeep!!!   This means that I can now go and get my driver's license that I've been waiting so long for!  Since I have a tennis match tomorrow, I can't do it then, but on Wednesday my dad is going to take me down after school to get it.  I'll just be a little late to tennis practice, lol but who cares?!  I'm getting my license!  Gosh, I m so excited!     

 

Okay, now I have to tell you the story of my test, because through the whole day I was all like, "Oh yea!  There's now way I'll fail!  I'll do great!"   And as soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I suddenly had this fear rush over me.  And the instructor didn't help much.  He was one of those guys that talks in only one tone and sounds really bored.  So I thought I had failed right from the beginning because I was messing up on the parking test, but I ended up passing that, and we started driving.  So about 75% through the driving portion, we are on a 3 lane one-way and he asks me to make a left.  Well, I was in the middle lane, so obviously I had to get over.  Well, I ran out of time, and as we pull up to the place where I'm supposed to turn, I'm still in the middle, and still have my blinker on from trying to get over, so I turn the blinker off, and plan on just going straight.  When the light turned green, I think he thought I was still going to try to make a left turn, so he grabs my steering wheel and tells me to go straight.  At that one moment, I was totally in the state of mind that I had just failed the test.   So I drive the rest of the route, and we get back to the lot, and in his monotone voice he says, "You passed.  I'll go get your certificate." and just gets out.   I was shocked and just sat there kinda staring out the window until my dad started talking to me from the backseat.  XD

Overall, probably the most frightening thing I've ever done, and I'm glad it's over with.  hahaha
